Thank you for your cards, calls, texts, posts and comments since last Sunday. I realize my announcement caught many off guard. I apologize if I’ve offended or disappointed you. Nothing in me wants to retire and no longer be The Pastor of Grace Baptist of Evans. It has been one of life’s greatest thrills to serve our awesome God with you. But it’s time to let someone else take the reins. As much as I hate to admit it, time and gravity are winning. I simply can’t keep up the pace at this point and I refuse to be a hindrance to the work God is doing in our midst. I realize that Pastoral transitions are difficult, and many Churches struggle as a result. Thankfully, it appears to me that God has positioned us to minimize those “growing pains” by raising up someone from within our Church family to be the next Pastor.more

Grace Place Mission Center
The Grace Place Mission Center exists to exalt the name of Jesus Christ by following in the ministry lead of Jesus, as outlined in Matthew 9:35-38 in teaching, preaching, acts of service, showing compassion, and sending out laborers into the harvest. The GPMC works with the Columbia County Georgia Board of Education and other agencies to identify families most in need of help in the area of basic needs ministry and use that opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
