I can hardly believe how quickly this summer has flown by. One week from tomorrow Columbia County Schools resume. I’ve often said that “time” seems to speed up as we age. But at this point it’s even moving fast for our children. How do we explain it? We’re all so busy. And we’re distracted by a hundred different “time wasters.” I’m talking about things like Facebook and TikTok and Instagram and X! In addition there’s a 24 hour news cycle on both television and radio. As such, we can “drop by” one of these “sites” with the intent of “catching up on the latest.” But before we realize it, several hours have passed.more

Grace Place Mission Center
The Grace Place Mission Center exists to exalt the name of Jesus Christ by following in the ministry lead of Jesus, as outlined in Matthew 9:35-38 in teaching, preaching, acts of service, showing compassion, and sending out laborers into the harvest. The GPMC works with the Columbia County Georgia Board of Education and other agencies to identify families most in need of help in the area of basic needs ministry and use that opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.
