Important info for parents to know:
What we believe: Please click on this link to see what we believe as a church! Our Beliefs
Why we exist: We exist to provide a ministry that is especially geared towards students. We want to engage them wherever they are no matter their background, social status, or skin color. We want to provide an atmosphere that is inviting and accepting at a time in their life that is filled with so much rejection and pressure. We also strive to provide structure and discipline. Deep down I really believe that teenagers want to know what they can and can not do. We do our best to let them know the biblical guidelines that will help them live freely in their relationship with Christ, but protect them from the tricks and traps of the devil in a world filled with so many temptations. We teach and preach the word of God! God said in Isaiah 55:11 “It [His word] will not return void.” At the end of the day, whether Sunday, Wednesday, or anytime we are together, we want to make sure our students leave knowing that they have had a fresh encounter with our resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We would love a chance to meet you and your students and help you in anyway we can!!! God bless you and we hope to see you real soon!!!
What we do: We do all kinds of neat things here! Here is a list of some of the things we have done in the past and will do again in the future: Glow-in-the-dark dodge ball tournament, Friday Night Lives, Friday Night Hang Outs, S.N.A.C.s (Sunday Night After Church), Gladiator Ball, Volleyball, Mystery Trips, Powerlife Student Camps, Mission Projects, Disciple Nows, Theme nights, Lock-Ins, Camp outs, Back to School Bashes, etc.
A typical Wednesday night will look like this:
|5:30pm||Cafe/ Video Games/ Youth room open|
|6:30pm||Welcome/Icebreaker/ Small Groups – College Bible study begins|
|6:50pm||Praise & Worship|
A typical Sunday will look like this:

|10:30am||Sunday school classes – Youth suite – (All ages–middle school, high school, and college).|
|4:30pm||Youth Choir/ Drama Team Practice (When in session)|
Opportunities to get involved:
Praise Band – We have some talented musicians who lead us in worship on Wednesday nights during our service! If you play an instrument or can sing we would love plug you into our praise band!
Student Leader – A student leader must be in high school, be a student of integrity and be growing in their walk with Christ!!! If you would like to know more of the requirements for being a student leader contact Pastor Bryan.
Sunday School – We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00am in the youth suite upstairs as a group for a few announcements, then we break up into small age appropriate groups. This would be a great way for your student to meet some more kids their age and gain a better understanding of God’s word!
Youth Choir – When in session
Drama Team – When in session
Wednesday night student worship service/ College Bible study – 6:30pm every Wednesday night in the youth suite! See above schedule for details!
High School Leadership Training – Monday afternoons at 3:30pm when in session. This is for any upperclassman (juniors and seniors) and it typically will last for an hour. Students will meet with Pastor Bryan in the conference room in the Office Building behind the main church building and learn leadership skills and what it takes to become an effective leader for Christ!
Summer Mission Projects – Every Thursday during the summer from 9am-4pm we will be meeting behind the church to “Go” and reach out to our community! Hope that you will join us! Mission Projects include: working with senior adults, assisting various ministries within the CSRA, yard maintenance, assisting the homeless, etc. We typically return to the church around 1:30pm and then stay til’ 4pm playing games, etc. See our Mission Page for more info!!!
Powerlife Student Camp – Every summer for the past several years we have attended this camp! In my opinion as a youth pastor it is one of the best in the country! Its main emphasis is the teaching and preaching of the Word of God, exaltation of Christ, and worship!!! We are blessed every time we go! Prices and dates for Powerlife 2014 will be released soon!
S.N.A.C. – Sunday Night After Church is a once a month activity that we do after the P.M. worship service. They will typically consist of a devotion, food, and some type of organized activity or game! Typically cost will range from $2-$10 per student and during the school year they last from 7:30-9:30pm and during the summer 7:30-10pm.
Disciple Now Weekend – Historically these have been powerful weekends that feature worship, mission projects, preaching/ teaching/ bible study, staying in host homes, and a whole lot more! These weekends are open to any 6th-12th grade student and typically our college students help lead these weekends!
Back to School Bash – This is one of our greatest events throughout the year and it has been something God has blessed! We have many participants from area high schools and middle schools and we would love to get your school/ team/ club involved if they are not already!
